Pigmented Curing Compound

DESCRIPTION
1215 White Pigmented Curing Compound is a waterborne resin based curing compound containing suspended white pigment. It permits complete hydration of the cement by retaining at least 95% of the water present in the concrete at the time of application, for at least 7 days. The white pigment reflects the heat-producing rays of the sun, keeping concrete surfaces cooler and preventing excessive heat build-up and resultant thermal cracking during the curing period.

USE
Reflective curing compound for exterior use on freshly placed concrete surfaces, both horizontal and vertical, particularly where protection from the sun's heat is required.

Recommended for use on driveways, walls, sidewalks, concrete highways, and runways, overpasses, bridges, tunnels, etc.

FEATURES
1215 White Pigmented Curing Compound contains SUSPENSOID, a unique additive which assists pigment dispersion and prevents excessive pigment settlement.
Excellent moisture retention properties.
Excellent heat reflective properties.
Excellent spray ability.
Easy clean up. 

CAUTION
Not recommended for use on concrete surfaces that are later to be painted, tiled, hardened, sealed or treated in any manner.

Avoid breathing vapours. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Product container label provides all application information. Read and follow all instructions and precautions.

Only nominal agitation of 1215 is required prior to each use. Do not employ constant re-circulating pumps or high-speed mixers.

Apply by low-pressure (30 psi) hand or power spray as soon as the surface water disappears from horizontal surfaces, or immediately after forms are removed from vertical surfaces.

An 80° fan pattern spray tip rated at 1.8 litres (0.4 gal. /72 oz.) per minute provides an excellent even coating.

Apply evenly over the entire surface, avoiding puddling in low areas.

Restrict foot traffic for at least 4 hours.

Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with water. Once dried, material would need to be cleaned with SEALTIGHT Solvent, Xylene or Toluol.

Proper application is the responsibility of the user. Field visits by W. R. MEADOWS personnel are for the purpose of making technical recommendations only, and are not to supervise or provide quality control on the job-site.
