AIR-SHIELD LM Applications >>

Project:           Blue Valley High School
Location:        Overland Park, Kansas, USA
Architect:        BNIM Architects
Contractor:      Restoration & Waterproofing of Kansas City
Salesperson:  Jim Weatherly

Products:     AIR-SHIELD
                    AIR-SHIELD LM
Scope:         125,000 square feet

AIR-SHIELD LM was applied from drums with a Graco HydraMax 350 sprayer.  This is a CMU BU wall that was covered with insulation and brick. The flashing, control joints, and 2” expansion joints between the structural columns and the block were sealed with various sizes of AIR-SHIELD. To fill the 2” void on either side of the columns, the installers cut foam and then coated it with AIR-SHIELD LM.  The AIR-SHIELD LM, in essence, acted as a primer for the flashing that was applied to the joints. This school was part of a large Blue Valley School District addition/renovation project.
