Our eBinder is now up and running!
Our purpose with the eBinder is to have all our printed literature, such as data sheets, brochures, and guide specifications, available in one single, accessible volume. In the past, we’ve sent binders upon binders to our clients, bloating their offices with bulky three-ring binders. Now, we have available all this information, and it’s available right on your desktop.
Another advantage with using the eBinder is that updates will be made several times a year, and if you register for the eBinder, you’ll be notified when changes are made. In the nature of our business, technology and product improvements happen on a rapid basis. That three-ring binder you have in your bookshelf could be outdated in a matter of weeks or months. Now, with our eBinder, we’re able to update quickly and efficiently throughout the year, and you’ll be notified when an update is made (as long as you register).
Another main purpose of the eBinder is to continue the green building initiatives we’ve implemented at W. R. Meadows. Printing thousands of pieces throughout the year definitely has an environmental impact; whether it’s saving trees or reducing landfill, W. R. Meadows wants to make a positive impact on our environment. We hope that clients opt for using the eBinder rather than requesting printed, hard copy binders to help us achieve our green goals.
In closing, we think the eBinder is a great way to not only inform users of the product technology that W. R. Meadows offers, but also to help our environment and be green.
We’ve already had some positive feedback regarding our eBinder. Mr. Keith Robinson, of Dialog in Edmonton, Alberta (www.designdialog.ca), states “this really works like any catalogue that we would have on a shelf, with the added benefit of being able to click for videos and specifications.” Keith also says the eBinder is a “real step forward and makes my sustainable (greenie weenie) side of my personality really happy.”
And that’s our goal – enhance efficiency, save space, and sustain planet earth! We have spent numerous hours building and creating the eBinder (it clocks in at nearly 600 pages!), and hopefully, our efforts have paid off. We hope you like and use our new eBinder, and if you have any comments to add, please write them below.
