OIL SPOT PRIMER

DESCRIPTION
A-500 OIL SPOT PRIMER is a quick drying latex emulsion formulated to provide a protective barrier over oil, grease, gasoline, or chemical spills prior to application of sealer.

USES
A-500 OIL SPOT PRIMER can be used on any asphalt surface, including parking lots, driveways, airport runways and aprons, traffic safety islands, and golf cart paths.

PACKAGING
18.9 L (5 U.S. gallon) pails

COVERAGE
Coverage is approximately 4.8 m²/L (200 ft.²/gal).

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Color when dry: Clear

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation … Scrape off and remove excess build up of oil, grease, or other chemicals before application.

Application Method … Mix well before using. Dilute with water 2 to 1. On heavy oil spills, mix 1 to 1. Allow to completely cure before sealing. Do not apply when temperatures are below 10º C (50º F) or if rain is evident or forecast.

CLEANUP
While still wet, clean tools and equipment with soap and water. Use solvent if material has dried.

PRECAUTIONS
Stir before using. Do not freeze. Do not store in direct sunlight. Do not store containerized sealer above 38º C (100º F). Containers should be closed when not in use.
