APPLICATION
Preparation
Sandblasting and/or waterblasting is recommended to remove all rust, grease, etc.
Mixing
|
Primer Application
Apply the first coat to the cleaned steel, using a stiff brush, as soon as possible after the steel is cleaned. Let this first coat dry for approximately 10 to 15 minutes and then apply the second coat.
Curing
Allow primer coat to dry and stiffen for 1 to 2 hours and then place repair material.
Repair Compound Placement
The placement of the repair compound may follow initial curing or be delayed as necessary. It is however important that the primer be kept clean during any delay.
Clean-Up
Clean tools immediately after use with water. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
Proper application is the responsibility of the user. Field visits by W. R. MEADOWS’ personnel are for the purpose of making technical recommendations only, and are not to supervise or provide quality control on the job-site.
SAFETY & TOXICITY
Prolonged contact with skin is not recommended, use rubber gloves to avoid sensitivity to Portland cement. Avoid contact with the eyes, goggles are recommended. Wash thoroughly with water. See product label and Material Safety Data Sheet for additional information. Read and follow all safety precautions.
