1170, 1175, 1178 ROAD REPAIR
High Performance Cold Patch Road Repair
DESCRIPTION
ROAD REPAIR is designed for repairing potholes, cracks, sunken areas, and utility cuts in asphalt or concrete. The product contains a blend of modified asphalts, additives, and specially graded aggregates that will bind to any firm surface.
ROAD REPAIR is ready for use. No mixing or tack coat is required. An average repair is completed in minutes. Immediate traffic will compact the product, increasing its durability. ROAD REPAIR is packaged in re-sealable containers. The product combines durability, adhesion, and stability in curing.
USES
1170 – Regular [1/4″ (6 mm) & minus size aggregate] is used for repairing potholes, cracks, and utility cuts in highways, streets, bridge decks, airports, parking lots, driveways, trip hazards on sidewalks; wherever repairs are needed.
1175 – Fine is used for industrial and warehouse floors, cracks, walkways, trip hazards on sidewalks; wherever a finer material is needed.

COVERAGE
20 Kg pail will approximately fill a pothole of .0929 m2 (1 ft.2) x 101.6 mm (4″) in depth.
SHELF LIFE
When stored in original, unopened containers, optimum performance and best use is obtained within one year of date of manufacture.
SPECIFICATIONS
Proven product for asphalt patching on the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Recognized Product List as well as being a proven product for asphalt pavement patching on the Alberta Transportation Products List.

Aggregate is 100% crushed and dried to a moisture content of less than 1%. Mixing temperature of asphalt mix shall be between 60º C (140º F) and 80º C (176º F). Asphalt content of mix total shall be 5% to 6.5%.
Can be stockpiled (uncovered) outdoors for months.
ALL WEATHER
ROAD REPAIR can be applied in wet or dry, hot or cold conditions: -10º C to 50º C (14º F to 122º F). In any weather, ROAD REPAIR produces a permanent repair to asphalt or concrete. In the winter months, warming of the material prior to application via a hotbox or patching truck is acceptable.
APPLICATION
Remove all loose debris and place ROAD REPAIR into pothole, slightly over-filling. Tamp with the back of a shovel or wheel-roll with any vehicle or use a plate compactor. Apply ROAD REPAIR in 50.8 mm (2″) lifts, compacting each lift for best performance.
