No permita que la superficie de asfalto encauchado de la membrana tapajuntas entre en contacto con selladores que contengan solventes, creosota, productos de alquitr\u00e1n de carb\u00f3n sin curar, componentes de EPDM o PVC.<\/p>\n<p>AIR-SHIELD THRU-WALL FLASHING debe amarrarse al sistema de la pared o sujetarse mec\u00e1nicamente con TERMINATION BAR de W. R. MEADOWS. Si no queda empotrada AIR-SHIELD THRU-WALL FLASHING en la junta de mamposter\u00eda, aplique TERMINATION BAR en el borde superior (y selle con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrmeadows.com\/es\/pointing-mastic-espanol\/\">POINTING MASTIC<\/a> de W. R. MEADOWS) para fijar mec\u00e1nicamente la membrana tapajuntas. Los solapados de la membrana tapajuntas deben ser de un m\u00ednimo de 63.5 mm (2.5\u00a0pulg.). Donde se solapan las secciones de tapajuntas, la costura creada por el solapado debe sellarse con POINTING MASTIC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instalaci\u00f3n de cavidad abierta\u2026 <\/strong>AIR-SHIELD THRU-WALL FLASHING siempre debe quedar\u00a0soportada en todo el ancho de la cavidad de\u00a0la pared abajo. El dise\u00f1o adecuado debe dar\u00a0apoyo con un puente de cavidad a fin de\u00a0 asegurar que la membrana tapajuntas AIR-SHIELD THRU-WALL FLASHING no se hunda en la cavidad abierta y acumule agua.
