Detailing Fluid-Applied Waterproofing (Virtual AIA)

Host: Scott Wolff
This one-hour virtual AIA course explores the history, terminology, material requirements, and standard details associated with fluid-applied waterproofing systems. Attendees will learn how many manufacturer details align with guidance in the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Roofing and Waterproofing Manual. The program emphasizes the importance of proper foundation construction, including adequately consolidated concrete and sufficient space for waterproofing installation. It also covers critical tie-in conditions involving adjacent materials, expansion joints, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing penetrations. This AIA/CES-registered, HSW-approved course provides one Learning Unit (1 LU).
