Product Spotlight – SEALTIGHT CLEANER

W. R. MEADOWS presents SEALTIGHT CLEANER – an aromatic solvent with a high KB value for numerous uses, from equipment cleaning to membrane removal.

SEALTIGHT CLEANER is especially suited to aid in the “cutting” and cleaning of difficult to dissolve synthetic resins, such as acrylics, and high molecular weight polymers, such as polysulfide and polyurethane, as well as epoxy mortars.  Primary applications include:

• Clean up of tools and equipment, such as hand tools, caulking guns and spraying equipment.
• Removal of resin-based curing membranes and sealers from floor surfaces.
• Breakdown of oil, grease and tar build-up.
• Assists in correcting “blushing” of acrylic sealers.

Resin or polymer removal is easiest if the material has not hardened.  Removal from floor applications will be facilitated if the coating surface has been scored and scratched.

Step #2: Ultrite Cleaner

After Step #1 has been completed with Ultrite Coating Remover, it is then necessary to utilize Ultrite Cleaner, a ready-to-use concrete cleaner and Step #2 of the coating removal process.  Ultrite Cleaner will remove any residue that is left behind from Ultrite Coating Remover.  What’s more is that this product will clean and prepare the surface for subsequent coatings and treatments.

ULTRITE_® COATING REMOVER

DESCRIPTION
ULTRITE COATING REMOVER is an easy-to-use, soy-gel coating remover.  This gel-type product effectively removes topical sealers, acrylics, latex, urethanes, enamels, some epoxies, and other single-component coatings.  ULTRITE COATING REMOVER is safe, low-odor, and non-caustic.

The use of ULTRITE COATING REMOVER is the first step of a two-step coating removal process.  The second step utilizes ULTRITE CLEANER from W. R. MEADOWS.  ULTRITE CLEANER is used to remove the residues left from ULTRITE COATING REMOVER.  For more details, refer to ULTRITE CLEANER #353-B data sheet.

USES
