AFTER 96 YEARS, THE W. R. MEADOWS LOGO GETS A REFRESH
HAMPSHIRE, IL – Global building materials manufacturing leader and supplier W. R. MEADOWS is unveiling their corporate identity brand refresh after 96 years with the existing logo.
“While the prior logo was synonymous with our company, we felt that after 96 years it was time for a logo facelift,” said Glenn Tench, W. R. MEADOWS Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The vertically oriented design affords us more design options,” added Jason Davoodi, Marketing Communication Supervisor.
The company is maintaining their existing color scheme, with the green color chosen by their founder, W. R. “Bob” Meadows, long before the emergence of the “green” movement, but an appropriate choice given W. R. MEADOWS’ commitment to developing low-to-no-VOCs products.
The timing of the brand refresh coincides with the grand opening of the company’s new INNOVATION AND TRAINING CENTER at their Hampshire, Illinois corporate headquarters campus.
W. R. MEADOWS remains a fourth-generation family owned-and-operated company with nine manufacturing facilities, and four strategically located warehouses in North America and global distribution. Their growth and expansion include the recent purchase of Canada-based GEMITE, a manufacturer of advanced technologies for the protection of reinforced concrete structures.
