DESCRIPTION
FINISH-ASSIST PRO is a ready-to-use, colloidal silica-based finishing and troweling aid formulated to improve the workability and finish-ability of concrete during placement and finishing. FINISH-ASSIST PRO is engineered to enhance surface lubricity, helping finishers achieve a smoother, more uniform finish, especially under adverse conditions, such as high temperature, high winds, or low humidity. FINISH-ASSIST PRO helps minimize rapid surface moisture loss and may also be used as an effective evaporation reducer.
As part of W. R. MEADOWS COMPREHENSIVE CONCRETE PLACEMENT AND CURING SYSTEM, including EVAPRE™ evaporation reducer and the W. R. MEADOWS full line of curing products, FINISH-ASSIST PRO helps create the proper finishing environment for high-quality results. It is engineered to be used with low-carbon concrete mix designs, including those incorporating portland limestone cement (PLC) or type IL cement.
FINISH-ASSIST PRO is compatible with evaporation reducers and liquid membrane-forming curing compounds, as well as other standard curing methods, ensuring seamless integration into existing concrete placement and curing practices.
USES
FINISH-ASSIST PRO is ideal for use on interior and exterior concrete flatwork where improved workability and finish-ability are needed. It is highly effective for decorative concrete, hard-troweled floors, tilt-up construction, and overlays, as well as mixes with low slump or high supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) content that can be difficult to finish.
FINISH-ASSIST PRO is also a valuable tool for contractors working with low-carbon concrete mix designs that incorporate high SCM content, alternative cement, alternative SCM, or emerging binder technologies. FINISH-ASSIST PRO helps bridge the gap between sustainability and performance by helping sustainable mix designs finish like traditional concrete.

Coverage may vary depending on mix design and environmental conditions. Coverage rate is for guiding purposes. Prior to troweling, apply FINISH-ASSIST PRO to a small test area to determine the appropriate application rate for actual jobsite conditions.
SHELF LIFE
When stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 40° – 90° F, optimum performance and best use is obtained within two years of date of manufacture.

APPLICATION
Application Method … FINISH-ASSIST PRO is designed for use during the floating and troweling stages of concrete placement.
Apply using a clean, low-pressure pump sprayer equipped with a fan tip. The product can also be applied through a spray tank of a ride-on trowel machine. Lightly mist the product uniformly over the concrete surface and proceed with finishing operations.
Reapply as needed to areas where the surface begins to prematurely dry, particularly under high evaporation conditions.
FINISH-ASSIST PRO is an integral component of a complete W. R. MEADOWS COMPREHENSIVE CONCRETE PLACEMENT AND CURING SYSTEM, designed to provide finish consistency, particularly beneficial for sustainable or low-carbon concrete mix designs. It is compatible with W. R. MEADOWS EVAPRE® or EVAPRE-RTU evaporation reducers and with any W. R. MEADOWS liquid membrane-forming curing compound or cure-and-seal. For best results, apply EVAPRE or EVAPRE RTU first to minimize rapid surface moisture loss, especially under hot, dry, or windy conditions. Use FINISH-ASSIST PRO during the finishing phase and complete the process with any W. R. MEADOWS curing compound or cure and seal to promote uniform hydration and durable concrete performance.
LIMITATIONS/PRECAUTIONS
KEEP FROM FREEZING. Do not use a centrifugal pump system for application. Use extreme care when walking on concrete with FINISH-ASSIST PRO. FINISH-ASSIST PRO is not a liquid membrane-forming curing compound, nor replaces the need for using one. It must be troweled or floated into the surface immediately after use – do not allow to puddle on the surface.
