CC-309-20WS™
White-Pigmented, Wax-Based, Water-Based Concrete Curing Compound
DESCRIPTION
CC-309-20WS is a ready-to-use, easy-to-apply, white-pigmented, wax-based concrete curing compound. It combines the low cost and superior curing properties of a wax emulsion with the ease of cleanup and the environmental benefits of a water-based product. When applied to freshly poured and finished concrete, the product forms a moisture barrier that helps retain the mixing water in the concrete, offering improved hydration for optimum strength development.
USES
CC-309-20WS provides excellent curing protection on exterior concrete surfaces where subsequent surface treatments will not be applied.
FEATURES/BENEFITS
- Ready to use.
- Easy application.
- Provides superior curing properties.
- Complies with SCAQMD VOC regulations
PACKAGING
5 Gallon (18.93 L) Pails
55 Gallon (208.20 L) Drums

COVERAGE
Unless otherwise directed by applicable specifications, the rate of coverage should be 200 – 300 ft.2/gal. Coverage is approximate and may vary depending on surface finish/texture, concrete condition, climatic conditions, etc. Always apply to a test area first to determine actual coverage rate before full-scale application.
SHELF LIFE
When stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 40° – 90° F (4° – 32° C), optimum performance and best use is obtained within one year of date of manufacture.

APPLICATION
CC-309-20WS white-pigmented, wax-base, water-base concrete curing compound is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid, the consistency of which is suitable for easy application by a professional-grade hand sprayer, such as a Chapin 1949 (with 0.5 GPM nozzle), or power sprayer equipment capable of applying a smooth, uniform coating. Thoroughly stir CC-309-20WS prior to use, so that all pigments are evenly mixed. CC-309-20WS should be applied immediately after surface water has disappeared and finishing steps are complete. If the surface of the concrete is clean and free of foreign matter, no further preparation is required. If foreign matter, such as dirt or dust, has accumulated on the surface, it should be removed before applying the white curing compound.
Cleanup … Tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with plenty of water. Dried films of CC-309-20WS will require solvent, such as xylene, for removal. Xylene is flammable; care should be taken to clean equipment away from heat, sparks and open flame, and to avoid breathing vapors or allowing the solvent to contact the skin.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not thin CC-309-20WS. Do not use when pavement temperature is 40º F (4.4° C) or lower.
CC-309-20WS must be spray-applied. Do not pour, splatter, or drip the product onto a fresh concrete surface. Do not use on concrete surfaces where paint, tile, or other treatments will be subsequently applied. Keep from freezing. Avoid skin and eye contact. This product may cause skin irritation after prolonged and repeated exposure. If contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention. When handling, use disposable plastic or rubber gloves. Wear protective clothing and discard clothing and gloves when finished. Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapors. If swallowed, call a doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Keep out of reach of children.
