Can VOCOMP be tinted with universal colorants?

W. R. MEADOWS does not get directly involved with tinting our sealers; however, we are aware of people that have used them successfully in this type of application. VOCOMP is acrylic-based. The dye/tint being used must be compatible with this chemistry. Prior to adding the dye/tint to VOCOMP, we always advise to take a small amount of the product and add a bit of dye/tint to make sure that the products are compatible, and that the results are what is expected. Adding color to an acrylic coating is not easy, and if one does not have experience with it, the client may want to consider into looking at an already pre-tinted sealer.
