This self-adhering air/vapor and liquid moisture barrier is a roll-type product comprised of aluminum bonded to specially modified asphalt. AIR-SHIELD ALUMINUM SHEET MEMBRANE offers several unique features to the building envelope market, including extended UV exposure time, improved sealant capabilities allowing a greater range or sealants that it will adhere to compared to standard poly films, and resistance to punctures during installation when penetrated with self-tapping screws or nails.
