DESCRIPTION
KNIGHTSHIELD KS-6000 are crushed glass granules made from 100% post-consumer recycled glass.
USES
KNIGHTSHIELD KS-6000 is designed to be broadcast into the wet KNIGHTSHIELD KS-5200 to provide resistance to wear and improve traction under normal pedestrian traffic.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation … Prior to application, make sure the previous KNIGHTSHIELD coating is still wet to make sure granules imbed properly into coating.
Application Method … Apply KNIGHTSHIELD KS-6000 walk-pad granules by broadcast method over the top of KNIGHTSHIELD KS-5200 silicone walk-pad (or alternate KNIGHTSHIELD coating) at a rate of 18 lb./100 ft.2 (8.2 kg/9.3 m2).
Make sure to apply granules when the coating is still wet for proper adhesion of the granules to the coating. Avoid brushing/rolling over the granules, or applying an extra coat over the granules, as this can cause encapsulation of the granules and reduce or eliminate traction properties.
