Ready-to-Use Concrete Curing Aid and Hardener
DESCRIPTION
CURE-TREAT RTU is a ready-to-use, easy-to-apply, clear, water-based concrete curing aid and hardener. Concrete surfaces treated with CURE-TREAT RTU have increased resistance to abrasion and dusting. CURE-TREAT RTU contains no solvents, waxes, or resins.
USES
CURE-TREAT RTU is ideal for improving curing, hardening, and dustproofing of exposed concrete floor slabs, sidewalks, driveways, beams, columns, etc. It can be used to provide a hard, dust-free surface on concrete floors to be painted or covered by resilient, carpeted, wood, or synthetic flooring.

Coverage is approximate and may vary depending on surface finish/texture, concrete condition, climatic conditions, etc. Always apply to a test area first to determine actual coverage rate before full-scale application.
SHELF LIFE
When stored indoors in original, unopened containers at temperatures between 40° – 90° F (4° – 32° C), optimum performance and best use is obtained within one year of date of manufacture.

- Complies with all current federal, state, and local maximum allowable including National EPA VOC Emission Standard for Architectural Coating, CARB, and SCAQMD.

APPLICATION
Mixing … For optimum performance, gentle mixing or agitation is recommended.
Application Method … Application equipment must be clean and free of any previously used materials.
New Concrete: Apply CURE-TREAT RTU as soon as surface water has disappeared and the surface is dry to the touch or hard enough to walk on. Apply one even coat with a pressure hand sprayer, such as a Chapin 1949 with 0.1 GPM (0.379 LPM) nozzle, or paint roller.
Existing (Old) Concrete: Clean surface thoroughly with a trisodium phosphate solution and rinse thoroughly. Apply CURE-TREAT RTU after the surface has dried. NOTE: Keep heavy traffic off surface for 24 – 48 hours after applying CURE-TREAT RTU.
Drying Time … Depends on weather conditions and coverage, but will generally dry in one hour.
Cleanup … Application equipment may be cleaned easily with soap and water while still wet.
PRECAUTIONS
DO NOT DILUTE. Do not apply if the temperature of the concrete is less than 40º F (4º C). KEEP FROM FREEZING. If CURE-TREAT RTU is accidentally sprayed or spilled on glass, brick, aluminum, painted surfaces, etc., flush immediately with water. DO NOT OVER APPLY. DO NOT ADD OR DILUTE WITH ANY OTHER COMPOUNDS. DO NOT MIX WITH ANY COMPOUNDS CONTAINING SOLVENT.
